Professional background

After training as a mechanical engineer and technical draughtsman, I am now a business and data analyst interested in the use of new technologies with experience in production, warehousing and logistics for major supermarkets and service industries including television broadcasting and the NHS. Most recently, my interests are in energy usage. I have been involved with business planning and strategic reviews and have started and sold my own business as well as being part of a management team successfully raising over £2m in venture capital for R&D into the use of new technolgies to create cashflow forecasting software. I currently run my own consultancy business I am a founder trustee of a charity which raises around £3m a year towards support and research for genetic disorders. I am looking for a position as a non-executive director and expect to have an active role in strategic planning and supporting the management of a new or growing business.
