Professional background

I started my career as an equity derivatives market maker in the open-outcry pit. Five years later I embraced technology as the exchange moved to screen-based trading. In the next fifteen years I designed electronic trading systems and implemented and ran low latency automated trading and risk operations, within buy- and sell-side organisations as well as vendors and exchanges. In the past five years I have consulted clients on technology and regulatory change and implemented the solutions for them. Often working as a hybrid business analyst and project manager, I apply my analytical yet decisive approach from my trading days to my consulting assignments.
