I have spent my career in the City in the credit markets. I spent many years running a small subsidiary of a major investment bank. This involved managing 40 dealing staff with another 30 in administration. We took considerable risk in order to provide a service to clients.
My area of expertise is sales and account coverage. However, the business I have been in has always been very profit focused. I have always focused on the income vs expenses balance whilst employing professional staff to drive the business forward.
