Professional background

I am a private investor with a 30 year background in IT, software development and internet based services to an international client base. Over the last 20 years I have founded, developed and successfully sold 2 IT software and services companies. I made a successful exit from the last of these in 2001 just as the dotcom bubble burst. In 2002 I moved abroad for professional and tax reasons.

During the interim period I have been acting as a part time consultant to a subsidiary of a major US company operating in North Africa deploying large scale telecommunications, security and CAD systems. I now wish to return to the UK and am looking for an active part-time executive role in a start- up/early development stage company that is looking for investment and mentoring.
