I have an accumulated 30 years of leadership experience in the aerospace, defence, technology & telecommunications sectors working for companies including BAe Systems, NCR, AT&T, Flowserve Corp & Cobham. I have specialist skills in the areas of general leadership; HR management with a focus on talent development and compensation design; organisational communications, both internal & external & corporate responsibility. I am interested both in the possibility of investing financially into interesting businesses but also of bringing my experience and know-how to the benefit of organisations seeking to grow & succeed. I am currently transitioning from a full time operational management career onto a portfolio basis.

EVP HR & Communications; Cobham is a £2bn, UK listed international aerospace & defence business. Reporting to the CEO I had full functional responsibility for HR & Communications matters across the PLC. This included the Remuneration Committee, acting as a trustee to the Company's DB pension funds & chairing the Company's Business Ethics & Compliance Committee.
At Flowserve, a US listed flow management engineering and technology business I filled the role of VP HR for Europe & Asia Pacific.
Group HR Director becoming VP of Human Resource Development, with responsibility for building the Marconi company's leadership, learning & development capabilities.
I held numerous HR & associated roles in an 11 year association with both NCR & AT&T both in Europe & the US
In the course of two, separate periods of employment with the Company my experiences included large scale organisational design, employee communications & compensation leadership projects.
