Professional background

I am an actuary by profession, and currently work as a consultant to insurance companies advising them on business planning, risk management, pricing and other business analyses. I am now looking to expand the application of my skills to wider fields. I have a BSc in Actuarial Science from the LSE, and an MSc in Applied Statistics obtained at Oxford. I qualified as an actuary 13 years ago, and in this time I have worked on insurance, pension fund, hedge fund, alternative investments, structured products, and real estate investment projects. I am looking for interesting and exciting investments with growth potential from dynamic entrepreneurs, which I can help in terms of capital and also in an advisory capacity.

At times I may be able to get more involved when my consultancy projects allow me time to do so. Over time I have built up a network of contacts which may also be called upon.
