Professional background

Started my career in advertising as an account executive/manager for premium brands. Started at Allen Brady and Marsh when the company had just twelve staff and left when the company was in the top five UK agencies with over 350 staff. Discovered how great interior plants are for offices, so started to explore this business opportunity in early 1980's. Founded an interior landscaping business as owner & MD in 1981, which, having grown dramatically, we sold to P & O Group in 1988. Remained as MD for two years and left the business in 1990. 1990-1995 - exclusion clause stopped me with continuing in interior landscaping area, so left London and moved to Somerset. 1996-2024 - Managing Director and 50% shareholder of another planting & interior landscaping business (started with a local friend who already had a very small interior plant business). Recently sold a 50% share of this thriving operation to our business partner, but still help with some consultancy work when they need a little support. I would like to explore possible business opportunities down here in Somerset - not related to horticulture.
