Mike has 30 years experience in RF product development and is a
wireless veteran, with 20 years experience in the mobile phone
industry. He was a Program Manager at Nokia Mobile Phones, where
amongst other things, he managed multi-million pound product
development programs of up to 100 people. He also managed their GPS
development and established and chaired the Bluetooth SIG's Local
Positioning Working Group.
Mike then became Director Technical Marketing for Bluesoft Inc. (now
Aeroscout) a start up company developing revolutionary positioning
technologies and solutions for short-range wireless systems, such as
802.11 and Bluetooth.
Mike has several patents granted and pending in the fields of mobile
phones, positioning and Bluetooth technologies. He is now an angel
investor, wireless consultant and chairman and webmaster for the
Wessex Round Table of Inventors
Mike holds a BSc (Hons.) degree in Electronic Engineering.
