Director for fundraising and investor relations within Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management, which covers four social infrastructure funds with total investment commitments in excess of £1bn.

For the last six years the role has been focused initially on establishing a professional dedicated investor relations function and also on structuring and raising of commitments from institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pensions funds, insurance companies and asset managers into discretionary managed funds under private equity and long-term structures. The BIIF Fund reached final close in Jan 2011 at £680m and the BEIF II fund reached final close in Nov 2006 at £280m. Rob also worked on previous fund raisings for I2 (2005) and BEIF (2004). Rob is the first point of contact for investors in the funds.
