I am a lecturer and researcher in European Law at the University of Amsterdam. I am trained in International and European Law. My education includes an LLB (summa cum laude, University of Tirana, Albania); an LLM. (Law and Economics, Erasmus Uni. Rotterdam & Uni. Hamburg); Advanced LLM International and European Economic Law (Uni. Maastricht) and a PhD in EU law (Maastricht University). I qualified as an attorney in 2006 and have practised law as a senior attorney for 8 years.
